Adding Five New Courses, UiPath Academy Becomes the Only Program to Deliver Open Online Training for Key RPA Roles

UiPath offers enhanced training opportunities to support the workforce of the future

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- As UiPath celebrates the first anniversary of the UiPath Academy, the company today announced a significant expansion to its premiere 360° training program for setting up a Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Center of Excellence and successfully executing an RPA program.

The UiPath Academy is the first-of-its kind training and certification program that enables any developer or business professional to learn RPA and put it to work. Since its launch, more than 90,000 individuals from 163 countries worldwide have enrolled in the Academy’s free courses. With the latest additions, UiPath Academy becomes the first and only program to deliver free training for all the main roles of a performant core RPA team.

The training courses have been designed to prepare professionals for the key roles required to build an RPA Center of Excellence within an organization, including RPA Developers, Solution Architects, Infrastructure Engineers, Implementation Managers and Business Analysts.

Five new free, self-paced online courses have been added to the curricula. They include practical exercises and regular access to RPA experts via Q&A webinars and ad-hoc sessions on hot topics. New courses for technical roles include RPA for Solution Architects and Infrastructure Engineers. New courses for non-technical roles include RPA Awareness, Implementation Methodology and RPA for Business Analysts.

“We believe that the Academy is 100% the fastest route to successful RPA implementations. Proper training is essential to roll out a company-wide RPA initiative and realize further business value. In that sense, the UiPath Academy gives us the essential skills and knowledge to make our RPA journey successful from both the technical and business side,” said Kazunari Akishige, RPA Center of Excellence Leader with SMFL Capital, one of the leading Japanese financial institutions.

UiPath’s advanced certifications require both theoretical and practical exams and offer participants strong professional credentials as the demand for RPA explodes across industries, including financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, retail and the public sector, among others.

“Automation and AI will have profound impacts on the way we work, and so we have an obligation to support that future workforce,” said Ana Cinca, UiPath’s global head of customer and partner success. “To us, that means truly democratizing a powerful technology like RPA, and making software, education and community available to anyone with ambition to pursue this opportunity. We are also helping to fulfill growing demand for RPA talent around the world and across industries.”

Other upgrades to UiPath Academy include a complete facelift to two current trainings, RPA Developer Foundation and Orchestrator, that have been synced to UiPath’s latest product version and now provide updated exercises and quizzes. A relocation to a new platform will allow for a leaner certification process and better user experience. After delivering the UiPath Academy in Japanese, UiPath is now offering the French user interface, with French RPA Developer Foundation, Orchestrator and Advanced trainings and diplomas. Versions in Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Korean and Mandarin are scheduled for the upcoming months.

Launched in 2016, UiPath’s Community Edition and UiPath’s Enterprise RPA trial has been downloaded by more than 150,000 developers seeking to put RPA to work.
