UiPath Adds Two Members to Its Board of Directors, Extends RPA Market Leadership

Deepens Board expertise with the additions of Michael Gordon and Kim Hammonds to support continued growth as businesses prepare for the fully automated enterprise

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- UiPath, the leading enterprise Robotic Process Automation (RPA) software company, today announced the appointment of Michael Gordon, COO and CFO of MongoDB, and Kim Hammonds, senior advisor and non-executive director to several technology companies, to its Board of Directors. The appointments expand the UiPath Board to include eight members, a prestigious group of seasoned business and technology executives from world-leading venture capital and Fortune 500 firms.

“COVID-19 has heightened the critical need of automation to address challenges and create value in days and weeks, not months and years. We are committed to working harder to help our customers evolve, transform, and succeed fast in the new normal to earn our customers’ trust for the long-term,” said Daniel Dines, Co-Founder and CEO of UiPath. “The additions of Michael and Kim to our Board of Directors is an important step for our company as we continue to expand our capabilities and market leadership to support our vision for the fully automated enterprise.”

Gordon, who will also serve as Chair of the Audit Committee, brings more than 20 years of financial management and business experience to his roles as COO and CFO of MongoDB. He has a strong background in finance, strategy, and business operations and a track record of helping high-growth companies scale successfully. Previously, he was COO and CFO at Yodle, where he was responsible for the strategic and operational management of all aspects of finance and business operations, business development, reseller programs, corporate development, and legal affairs. Gordon is on the Board of Directors of Share Our Strength, one of the nation’s leading anti-hunger organizations.

“The rapid growth UiPath has experienced is supported by an outstanding team, an innovative solution, and a customer-first mindset,” said Gordon. “I’ve known Daniel for over two years and have followed the company’s success. As UiPath expands its solutions further into cloud, managed services, and SaaS offerings, I am excited to bring my perspectives to their business strategies and go-to-market efforts.”

Hammonds is currently a senior advisor and non-executive director to several technology companies. She is the founder of Mangrove Digital Group, which provides technology and business transformation expertise to technology CEOs. She currently serves on the boards of several high-profile organizations including Zoom Video Communications, Box, and Tenable, and was a past board member of RedHat and Cloudera. She most recently served as the Group Chief Operating Officer of Deutsche Bank AG, where she was the third female in the company’s 150-year history to sit on the Management Board. Hammonds previously served as the Group Chief Information Officer for the Boeing Company. She also held executive positions at Dell Corporation and Ford Motor Company.

Hammonds commented: “I joined The UiPath Board of Directors because I believe in its technology and its people.
